Power outages were affecting areas in Carlow
Power has been restored in Carlow after Storm Callum hit Ireland on Thursday night with gusts of over 100km/h recorded in the Dolmen County.
Motorists are advised to drive carefully after there were reports of trees down and debris on Carlow roads.
Carlow/Kilkenny Gardai said: "Please exercise caution on roads. There are a lot of leaves and small branches displaced and scattered across roads.
"These would effect your ability to brake so reduce your speed. Allow extra time for your journey."
