Let's get Brandon Bolger on the Toy Show!

A young Carlow boy battling cancer - who wished for a tractor so he could raise money to buy toys for other kids in hospital - wants to be on RTÉ's Toy Show for his friends in Crumlin.

Brandon Bolger, 10, was diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma  – a rare disease affecting bone or soft tissue – last March and he needed €5,000 to make his kind-hearted dream come true.

He has been receiving strong doses of chemotherapy at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin every two weeks.

The family recently withdrew the funds from the GoFundMe Page set up for Brandon to help him reach his target and have they have now bought the tractor of his dreams and wish to begin fundraising for the sick children.

In a post on Facebook, Brandon said: "Hi I'm asking everybody to share this pls I want to get my tractor and myself on late late toyshow for my friends in crumlin. my mam and dad have rang and emailed but no reply so pls help me make this happen."

The post has received over 1,000 shares already ahead of the Toy Show later this year.
