Gardaí in Carlow are investigating a burglary in Rathnapish Carlow on October 11 between 2pm and 5pm.
The homeowner was away from the house and returned home to find the house had been burgled and entry gained through a window that was forced open.
A "small quantity of cash" was taken.
The house is in a very built up area so Gardaí are appealing for information from anyone who may have been in the area at that time or who may have seen anything suspicious.
