The canteen and catering services contract has been tendered for the new Carlow Institute of Further Education and Training building at Mortarstown on the Kilkenny Road.

Carlow Institute of Further Education and Training is under the patronage of Kilkenny and Carlow Education and Training Board (KCETB).

It is one of the schools affected by the collapse of Sammon Construction but is now expected to be completed in December.

KCETB are seeking tenders for the supply of canteen/catering services to the new Institute building.

The college has a current enrolment of 800 students and a staff or approximately 70.

It is intended to award a contract to a single service provider, providing all catering to the students and staff.

Bidders have until December 5 to make their application.
