Carlow Gardaí detect car with two flat tyres as driver tests positive for cannabis

Carlow Roads Policing Unit stopped a car last Friday morning driving with two flat tyres.

The driver was an unaccompanied learner and was also drugs tested and found to be under the influence of benzodiazepines and cannabis.

The motorist was arrested and a blood sample was taken at Carlow Garda Station whie the car was seized for no tax.

Gardaí said: "Never drive whilst under influence of an intoxicant. Check your tyre pressure."
