Molly Scott from Carlow
A civic reception was held in County Buildings on Friday evening for Carlow sprinter Molly Scott in recognition of her achievements in athletics this year.
The Carlow sprinter was honoured at the ceremony with dignatories from Athletics Ireland in attendance.
Molly won a silver medal for her country in the 4x100m relay at the World U20 Championships in Finland earlier this year.
The IT Carlow student was also selected to compete for Ireland in the 4x100m at the European Championships in Berlin.
The Hacketstown native runs with the St Laurence O'Toole Athletics Club.
