Revealed: Council dealt with over 100 incidents of abandoned cars in Carlow last year

Carlow County Council dealt with over 100 incidents of abandoned cars in Carlow last year, new figures have revealed. 

In total, there were 102 complaints across the Dolmen County about abandoned cars and 101 were investigated by the local authority. 

Some 20 of these investigations remain active while a further 82 have been resolved. 

A fine of €500 will be implemented in Carlow on the registered owners of cars abandoned in any place.
