Over 1,200 repair requests lodged by Carlow's social housing tenants in six months

There were over 1,200 repair requests lodged by Carlow's social housing tenants in six months, new figures have revealed. 

The data is provided in a Housing Report to be presented to members at Monday's full meeting of Carlow County Council. 

Under the "Housing Maintenance" section repair requests logged from September 1 of 2018 to February 28 of this year came to 1,201.

Repairs carried out by the Council during that time period came to 1,177 with outstanding repair requests amounting to 24.
