Man arrested and charged after break in to premises at industrial estate in Carlow

Gardaí in Carlow responded to a report of a break in to a business premises

Gardaí in Carlow responded to a report of a break in to a business premises on the outskirts of the town on Thursday night and arrested a male concealed on the scene.

The man was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.

The incident happened at a premises in an industrial estate just before midnight. 

The alarm went off at the premises on the Dublin Road and Gardaí were quickly on the scene.

One man was found concealed on the premises and arrested and he was subsequently charged with burglary.

The male, 33, with a local address has been released to appear before Carlow District Court on April 3.
