Gardaí have issued an appeal

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in Ballinabranna, Carlow (approximately one mile from Ballinabranna village).
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a single vehicle road traffic collision that occurred at Clogrennane on March 20 at approximately 11.50am.
Five occupants of a car, a man in his 20s and four female youths in their teens, were taken to the Midland Regional Hospital and St Luke's General Hospital in Kilkenny (two with serious injuries).
A technical and forensic examination of the scene took place on Wednesday.
Gardaí are appealing to witnesses travelling on the Ballinabranna Rd between 11.40am and 12.15pm to contact Carlow Garda Station on (059) 913 6620, the Garda Confidential Line 1800-666-111 or any Garda station.
