Carlow Gardaí are investigating
Gardaí investigating incidents of cars burnt out in Carlow over the last few days have issued an appeal for witnesses.
The first incident occurred on Friday night, March 22 at 11pm in Fr Byrne Park, Graiguecullen when two cars were set alight.
The offender made his getaway in a dark coloured Volkswagen Golf car and left the estate immediately after both vehicles were set on fire.
Gardaí are trawling through CCTV footage in connection with the matter.
In a separate incident, in the early hours of Monday morning on March 25 at 4.55am a car was torched in Riverview Close, just off the Tullow Road.
The fire caused extensive damage to the vehicle and the fire brigade attended the scene.
