'Such a fast response'

Carlow Gardaí have been praised for their quick response to a report of a missing girl in Carlow Town recently.

Cllr John Cassin said he was aware of a five-year-old girl going missing in Carlow in the last few weeks - which turned out to be a false alarm due to a "miscommunication".

However he said he wanted to praise the Gardaí as they were up to the house within six minutes and it was "such a fast response".

"It's very comforting as a parent, so huge congrats to Carlow Gardaí," he added.
