Gardaí are investigating two incidents of criminal damage in Carlow where a stone was used to smash windows.

The first incident occurred on The Parade in Bagenalstown in the early hours of May 17 when a person parked their truck at 1am and the driver returned at 7.15am to discover two windows were smashed with rocks. 

No entry was gained to the vehicle and Gardaí are treating it as an act of vandalism. 

Anybody who saw anything suspicious or were in the area at the time is being asked to contact Bagenalstown Garda Station on 059 972 1212.

The second incident occurred at Pembroke Court in Carlow Town on May 14 between 7pm and 8pm. 

Criminal damage was done to a house after the occupant left for a short period of time and when they came back the window was smashed. 

It's believed the damage was caused by a stone. 

Carlow Gardaí are investigating and anyone with information is asked to contact them on 059 913 6620.
