Revealed: Decision due on planning for the erection of a memorial statue in Carlow

A decision is due after a planning application was lodged for the erection of a memorial statue in Carlow.

The Kevin Barry Commemoration Committee is seeking permission for the erection of a bronze memorial statue, the plinth and all ancillary works at The Green, Rathvilly, Carlow.

A decision is due from Carlow County Council on May 18.
