Today (December 20) will be a blustery or windy day with sunny spells and showers in most areas, many of them heavy with the possibility of hail.
According to Met Éireann, eastern and southeastern coastal areas will be mostly dry while southwest winds will be fresh to strong and gusty with gales on Atlantic coasts.
Highest temperatures of between 6 to 9 degrees.
Tonight will continue to be windy and rainy with hail and isolated thunderstorms possible.
Lowest temperatures of 2 to 6 degrees with fresh to strong and gusty south to southwest winds.
