4 more rides today at Cheltenham day two for Racheal Blackmore, located in Carlow. Out of her four races yesterday, she rode Slade Steel to a winner in the first race of the day and rode Telmesomethinggirl to second at the 4.10. Both horses trained in Waterford by Henry De Bromhead. She looks to follow up the same level of form today with 4 more attempts at victory today.
Monty's Star 2.10
Her first race of the day sees her saddled up with a De Bromhead horse, Monty Star. A horse that Racheal knows well as she rode him to victory at Punchestown at the end of 2023. The racing post has Monty's Star as a 5/1 runner in this race.
Ballyadam 2.50
Another horse Racheal is acquainted with her at the 2.50 and another horse trained by De Bromhead. Looking at the form books, a horse that has not won since July of last year, comes in at 8/1 bet in this race. Has shown a lot in last few races, could be of interest.
Captain Guiness 3.30
Another one from the De Bromhead stable here at 3.30, Captain Guinness was runner-up in the same race last year and looks to go one better today, priced at an 11/1 outsider, seems like a decent price for this horse.
The Folkes Tiara 4.50
Finally for Racheal today and making it a clean sweep of De Bromhead trained horses for the day, she rides the Folkes Tiara at 4.50. Priced on the Racing Post as at a huge 40/1 despite winning the Leopardstown handicap over Christmas could be a horse to keep an eye on especially at that price.
It was a great day for the Irish yesterday, more of the same today hopefully!
