Icy-roads warning as Carlow and its neighbouring counties among the worst hit
Be careful out there!
AA Roadwatch is reporting that icy road conditions are at their worst in Laois and Kildare this morning with parts of the M9 also slippery.
Motorists are urged to exercise extreme caution.
It is also much busier on commuter routes into Dublin, particularly on motorways.
Caution is advised on the M7 northbound between Newbridge and Naas, where it's icy this morning. It may also be slippery on parts of the M9.
