Local Carlow butchers pick up 'Best in the World' award at international awards
Murphy's Craft Butchers in Tullow picked up the award in France
Local Carlow butchers, Murphy's Craft Butchers, picked up a huge award of the World's Best Chicken product in the world at a recent awards ceremony in France.
The Tullow based butchers picked up the award for their Chicken Italiano at the awards ceremony.
They posted the impressive news on their social media account writing:
Not the fairytale ending we were hoping for but we did win the best Chicken Product in the World for our Chicken Italiano -Congratulations to the overall winners Team France -a brilliant competition for the big butcher family -all winners in my eyes -I’m very proud of Bernadeta & all the team members plus all our sponsors without them we would not be here -Thanks to ACBI as well Jack ,Dave & Brendan for all there help on our journey -it was a rollercoaster for sure -but the best experience of my butchers life. Again well done host nation France.
