ELECTION LATEST: Updates following the second count of the Muinebheag LEA at the Carlow Local Elections

The second count of the Muinebheag LEA has taken place at the Carlow Local Elections 2024.

Following the count sitting councillor Willie Quinn was reelected to the Carlow County Council with a surplus of 112 votes.

The voting breakdown after the second count in Muinebheag is as follows:

Thomas Kinsella - FG - Elected

Willie Quinn LAB - Elected

Michael Doran - FG - 1,083

Daniel Pender - FF - 1,070

Andy Gladney - SF - 1,054

Arthur McDonald - FF - 875

Liam O'Brien - GRN - 315

Áine Gladney - SF - 218

The votes need to reach quota in Muinebheag after the second count are:

Michael Doran - FG - 100

Daniel Pender - FF - 113

Andy Gladney - SF - 129

Arthur McDonald - FF - 308

Liam O'Brien - GRN - 868

Áine Gladney - SF - 965
