Dr Gerard Moran announces his retirement after thirty-five years as a GP in Carlow Town
After thirty-five years as a GP in Carlow Town, Dr Gerard Moran has announced his retirement.
Dr Gerard Moran qualified in medicine in 1983 from UCD. He has been working for over thirty-five years in general practice in Carlow and set up The Oaks Family Practice located in Carlow Town over thirty years ago.
Speaking to his patients, The Oaks Family Practice released a statement saying, 'Caring for his patients has been the most rewarding part of [Gerry's] career. He has come to know many of his patients and families as friends and he is honoured that many of you have asked him for care for two or even three generations.'

Dr Gerry Moran is set to retire as of Friday 19th January 2024.
Dr Kehoe, Dr Delaney, Dr Nair and Dr Byrne will continue as part of the medical team at The Oaks Family Practice as normal.
