St Patrick's Day festivities end in assault for one young man in Carlow Town

Potato Market, Carlow Town, Carlow

Carlow Gardai are investigating an assault incident which took place on Kennedy Avenue, Carlow, just off Potato Market at 5.20pm on St. Patrick’s Day, 17th March 2024.

During the course of this incident a young male was assaulted by a number of other young males who were unknown to him. The injured party required medical treatment for non-serious injuries.

Gardai are appealing to anybody who may have witnessed this incident to contact them on 9136620 or indeed anybody who may have dashcam footage to come forward. Gardai are currently canvassing the area for CCTV footage of the incident.
