Irish consumers have been advised to immediately discontinue use of a children's toy due to a risk of choking and bowel injury.
According to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), the safety issue was identified with Janod Chunky Fruits and Vegetables Set Magnetic Puzzle (model number j06606/ barcode 3700217366063/ all batches) .
The product contains small detachable parts (magnets) which could be ingested by a child, who could then choke.
If the child swallows two magnets, or a magnet and a metal part, there is a risk of bowel perforation or obstruction.
The product can be brought back to the store where it was purchased for a full refund.
