Thousands of Coldplay fans were left frustrated as remaining tickets for all four Croke Park shows sold out in less than an hour.
The Dublin leg of their Music of the Spheres tour is now completely sold out, with tickets already being offered for resale.
Ticketmaster said: "Coldplay were super popular this morning, and tickets are now sold out".
"Sorry to those who missed out this time. Please keep an eye on our official Fan-To-Fan Ticket Exchange for tickets becoming available at a future date," Ticketmaster added.
Tickets had been released for two pre-sale events earlier in the week with final tickets released on Friday morning for general sales.
However, many were priced at different pricing packages. An 'Ultimate Spheres Experience' ticket cost €987.85 each. A 'Supersolis Experience' ticket was priced at €257.75 each.
This priced many genuine fans out of the opportunity to buy tickets. Coldplay release limited budget priced tickets for shows at some point, also.
#coldplaydublin #Ticketmaster Such a joke of a ticketing system was on at 9.45am in the waiting room as advised only 20k roughly ahead of me, which, going by simple logistics I should have got 2 tickets. Got to end only premium tickets for 385 each left. Do one ticketmaster

Queued for 1.5hrs to be offered this #coldplaydublin WTF can justify paying this. It’s a bloody joke, did the 23k before me in the Q pay this for their tickets? pic.twitter.com/5B2l63rLCh

Thousands of fans, more or less forced into buying €300+ VIP tickets through desperation to see their favourite band. Shame on you @Coldplay

#coldplaydublin
It would be better to sell concert tickets by a different method and bypass the #Ticketmaster fiasco. There are many people frustrated by the digital selling method which seems to have money as the end result rather than happy customers. #ColdplayDublin
