Gardaí are reminding motorists to slow down after detecting a car travelling at excessive speed on a popular motorway.
According to the official Twitter account of An Garda Síochána, the DMR South Roads Policing Unit recently stopped a car travelling on the M50 at 162km/h.
The driver was issued a fine.
When asked by Iconic Media if any further action was taken against the driver, the Garda Press Office stated, "No further information is available in relation to this tweet."
