Freddie the Floof - Antrim Nose

Hello!!!

My name is Freddie (the Floof) and I'm a Shih Tzu with a heart as big as my fluffy... butt My human says I have the cutest face and fantastic teeth, but what truly matters is the love I have for my family and those around me.

I've been by my owner's side through thick and thin, especially when my grandad needed some extra love and support during his tough battle with Parkinson's and dementia. I could sense when he needed a smile or a gentle snuggle, and it warmed my heart to see him feeling better because of me.

Lately, things have been a bit tough since my grandad went into hospital. I miss him lots and I know my family does too. I'm doing my best to bring smiles to their faces!

Playing with my ball is a favourite pastime of mine, even though I'm not a big fan of bringing it back – what's the fun in that, right? And yes, I admit I can be a bit lazy, but, who doesn't love a relaxing car ride over long walks right?!

The park is my happy place, where I get to meet my furry friends, and I even enjoy a trip to the shops where I've also got lots of human friends! I am an expert at waiting patiently for my owner while she grabs a cup of coffee.

I've got a heart full of love and a willingness to make everyone's day a little brighter. Winning the Nose of Tralee would be a dream come true, and I'd be so proud to win it for Antrim as well as for all the wonderful doggies out there who also bring joy and love to their families every day.

Thank you for considering me, Freddie the Floof, for this pawsome honor!

With a wagging tail, pearly smile and lots of love,

Freddie
