SAVED: Animal charity seeks donations to care for puppy rescued from traffic

An animal rescue is seeking donations towards the care of a puppy saved after running into traffic.

According to My Lovely Horse Rescue, an intoxicated man took the puppy out of a haversack Dublin City after which the animal was seen running into traffic.

Volunteers including a group of builders and passersby rushed to the scene along with Gardaí from Store Street to work together to save him.

The puppy was taken to Raheny Veterinary Hospital, where he was discovered to be very dehydrated and with mange and worms.

In a post published on X (formerly known as Twitter), My Lovely Horse Rescue stated, "Thanks to Garda Linda, Garda Gillian & Garda Shane. Our animals need and deserve protection. Cooper will now have a chance and a bright future. Please donate towards his care & the many animals that need a life line."
