Daniel McLaughlin went missing from his home in Donegal in July
A MISSING person appeal for 74-year-old Daniel McLaughlin has been stood down following the recovery of a body in Scotland.
Police Scotland has confirmed a DNA analysis for Daniel McLaughlin, who went missing from his home in Quigley's Point, in Co Donegal, at the beginning of July.
A spokesperson for the Gardai said: "An Garda Síochána would like to thank the media and public for their assistance in this matter. No further action is required and no further information is available at this time."
