Garda investigation after stolen vehicle recovered in nearby county field

GARDAÍ in Limerick have recovered a stolen vehicle in a county town, which is confirmed to have been taken from Clare.

It is said that the car was stolen in Shannon, this Tuesday evening, before being recovered in Kilmallock.

A garda spokesperson has confirmed that Gardaí observed the vehicle at approximately 10pm at The Hill in Kilmallock. "The vehicle failed to stop for Gardaí and was later found abandoned in a nearby field," the spokesperson stated.

No arrests have been made and investigations by gardaí are ongoing.
