Gardaí seize car caught at 151km/h on motorway after discovery during stop
A car was seized from a driver breaking the speed limit on the M9 last night after gardaí discovered a second offence during the stop.
Gardaí in Kildare made the stop on the M9 on Sunday.
Naas RPU were carrying out speed checks on the M9 when they found the BMW speeding at 151kph in a 120kph area in foggy weather.
"They were stopped and it was found that the driver was an unaccompanied learner with no L-Plates," gardaí said.
The car was was seized and the driver was fined.
