Motorists are advised to take plan their routes in advance as the Dublin Tunnel is confirmed to close this Wednesday.

The closure of the tunnel's northbound lanes is scheduled to take place from 9:30pm to 4:30am, causing temporary disruption to the regular flow of traffic.

Commuters and residents are advised to plan their journeys accordingly, as the closure may impact travel times and routes for those relying on the tunnel during these hours.

The decision to close the northbound lanes is part of ongoing maintenance and improvement efforts aimed at ensuring the safety and efficiency of the transportation link.

The Dublin Tunnel, connecting the M1 and M50 to the docklands, is a key artery for traffic moving in and out of the city.
