Driver tests positive for cannabis and cocaine with child in back seat

According to the An Garda Síochána Waterford/Kilkenny/Carlow social media page, a driver was arrested after testing positiove for cannabis and cocaine.

Gardaí from the Roads Policing Unit stopped the car because they noticed there was a child standing on the back seat.

Around midnight, the Gardaí also stopped a driver who failed a breath test with 94/50 on the Bennettsbridge Road, County Kilkenny. The driver was disqualified, arrested and charged.

On the same night, a driver who, according to Gardaí, appeared to have a 'smokey' and 'noisy' exhaust was also stopped. The driver was an unaccompanied learner driver with very poor tyres. The vehicle was seized.
