Have you got the winning ticket?
A Lotto player in Limerick is waking up this Sunday morning as Ireland’s newest multi-millionaire after scooping the massive €8,970,934 jackpot in last night’s draw.
The Limerick player has taken the title of third Lotto jackpot winner of 2024 following wins by players in Dublin and Louth.
The winning numbers in the Saturday, April 20 draw were: 01, 09, 10, 14, 26, 40 and the bonus was 04.
The National Lottery is urging Limerick players to check their tickets carefully from last night’s draw as a player who purchased their ticket in the county now has a ticket worth over €8.9 million.
The winner is advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe. They should make contact with the prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their life-changing prize.
The National Lottery has confirmed that the winning store location where the ticket was purchased will be revealed on Tuesday.
National Lottery spokesperson, Sarah Orr, said: “Well it’s certainly been a life-changing weekend for a Lotto player in Limerick. While Saturday’s draw saw over 100,000 players win prizes across the Lotto and Lotto Plus draws, there is one ticketholder waking up today as Ireland’s newest multi-millionaire after scooping the massive €8,970,934 jackpot in Saturday night’s draw.
"The Limerick player has taken the title of third Lotto jackpot winner of 2024 following wins by players in Dublin and Louth earlier in the year.”
She continued: "Our advice to anyone who may have purchased their ticket for last night’s draw in the Limerick area is to carefully check those tickets today as someone now has a ticket worth over €8.9 million. This is a huge amount to come into overnight and the winner is sure to be in a bit of shock initially.
"The newest National Lottery millionaire is advised to sign the back of their ticket and keep it safe. They should contact our prize claims team who will make arrangements for them to visit Lotto HQ to pick up their astonishing prize.”
