Man drives 'erratically' around Breffni park and tests positive for meth

A young man driving "erratically" near Breffni Park tested positive for cocaine and meth.

Gardaí in Cavan stopped the driver as he was seen driving "erratically" near Breffni Park, where Cavan played against Tyrone as part of The Ulster Senior Football Championship on Sunday, at about 4pm.

"The young man had no insurance, no tax or NCT and the roadside drug test lit up - positive for cocaine, cannabis, opiates, benzos and methamphetamines," said Garda Traffic on X, formerly known as Twitter.
