An animal rescue is seeking donations to help support a "starving" baby goat dumped in a garden in Kildare.

According to My Lovely Horse Rescue (MLHR), Millie the baby goat was discovered by the owner of the house who was home at the time of the dumping.

In a social media post MLHR explained, "This tiny little precious baby goat was dumped in a garden in Kildare. Thankfully the house owner was there and heard her crying. Luckily dogs weren’t in the garden, she’s so tiny and weak.

"We got her straight to our vet, she was dehydrated and starving.

"Who [could] do this to an innocent baby?! She is safe now and soooo adorable, drinking her bottle."

They continued: "Please donate towards this innocent little goat, she needs your support. So many animals in need."
