Ireland is set for a scorcher this weekend as temperatures are set to soar from today (May 10).
According to Met.ie, it will be warm and dry throughout today with long spells of spring sunshine and highest temperatures of 23 degrees.
Tonight will be dry and clear with light variable breezes, and temperatures will hit lows of between 7 and 10 degrees.
Patches of mist and fog may affect some areas.
Tomorrow (Saturday May 11) will be another warm and dry day with good spells of sunshine and highest temperatures of 22 degrees.
Cloud cover will increase on Saturday evening with some showers developing overnight, mainly over the western half of the country, with mild temperatures of 12 degrees.
Although Sunday's temperatures will achieve highs of 19 degrees, longer spells of rain can be expected, some heavy, with the chance of isolated thunderstorms.
Showers will gradually die out by Sunday night, with lowest temperatures of between 8 and 11 degrees.
