One particular luxury BMW car has kept Gardaí busy this year after being caught for a fourth time without insurance.
Using their new mobility app, Gardaí in Waterford were alerted to the familiar BMW's lack of insurance and tax, resulting in the car being seized.
"This driver can’t be very ’appy. Thanks to our new mobility device app Gardaí in Waterford discovered the motorist had been driving without insurance," gardaí said in a post on X.
"This is the fourth time this year the car was found to be uninsured. To top it off the tax had also expired."
