ALERT: Food safety group issues urgent warning about bread sold in Dunnes and Tesco

A food safety group has issued a warning about batches of bread sold in Dunnes Stores and Tesco. 

According to the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI), the BFree Sunflower and Pumpkin Seed Loaf (pack size 350g) may contain peanut, which is not declared on the list of ingredients. 

The warning affects all batches with best before dates up to and including 04/12/2024. 

The added ingredient may make the batches unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of peanuts.
