An adult teenager has died following a crash in Co Kildare.
The man, who was the sole occupant of the crashed car, was fatally injured in the incident on the Clane Road in Celbridge on Tuesday night.
The crash happened at around 10.30pm.
The local coroner was notified and arrangements for a post-mortem examination were due to be arranged.
The road remained closed on Wednesday morning to allow for an examination of the scene by forensic investigators.
Gardai are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
