A woman has been arrested in connection with the death of a man in North Dublin earlier this month.
Gardaí in Balbriggan have said that they are investigating all the circumstances in relation to the discovery of a man with serious injuries on Saturday 10th August.
The man, aged in his 60s, was found on a residential road in the Balbriggan area in the early hours of the morning, and was rushed to Beaumont Hospital.
He later died on Sunday, 11th August. A post mortem was subsequently completed and the results of which are not being disclosed for operational reasons.
A woman aged in her 40s was arrested in Balbriggan this morning on suspicion of murder and is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda station in North Dublin.
Investigations are ongoing.
