Gardaí rush to scene as dead body is discovered at recycling facility in Dublin
Gardaí are currently at the scene of a recycling plant in Dublin where a body has been discovered.
In a statement they confirmed they responded to the scene "in relation to the discovery of a body at a recycling centre in Ballymount, Dublin 24 this morning, Friday, September 27, 2024."
At approximately 6.40am this morning Gardaí were notified of the grim discovery.
"The body of a white male was examined at the scene and has now been removed to the Dublin City Mortuary where a State post-mortem will take place in due course," they confirmed.

"The results of the post-mortem will determine the course of the investigation.
"The scene remains preserved and will be examined by Garda Technical Bureau."
