Gardaí made the arrests with assistance from the Armed Support Unit in Dublin
Gardaí in North Dublin have made two arrests as part of Operation Fógra on the 1st of October 2024.
Operation Fógra is the Gardaí's response to Drug Related Intimidation as part of the Gardai National Strategy under Operation Tara.

From the Gardaí Press Office:
"As part of ongoing investigations into drug related intimidation in the North Dublin region, Gardaí in the DMR North with assistance from the Armed Support Unit, arrested two men earlier today, Tuesday 1st October 2024.
The men, both aged in their 20s, were arrested under organised crime legislation and are currently being detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007, at Garda Stations in North Dublin.
Investigations are ongoing."
