Radio and sporting royalty among the guests for tonight's RTE Late Late Show seaon finale

The Late Late Show is set to bow out for the summer this Friday night with a jam-packed finale featuring a stellar lineup of guests, including an Irish radio icon and one of the greatest athletes ever.

Fresh from announcing his retirement after 37 years on air, RTÉ’s Joe Duffy will reflect on the stories, moments and calls that defined Liveline during his long career. He’ll also talk about the importance of trust with listeners and what his next chapter might hold.

Seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady makes his debut this Friday night, reflecting on his illustrious career and life beyond the field. In an exclusive interview, Tom will open up about how he fought his way to the very top of American Football, earning the title of greatest of all time. He also will discuss his Irish roots and his deep connection to Ireland.

Nadine Coyle, beloved Girls Aloud star and Derry native, returns to The Late Late Show to catch up with Patrick on life lately. Following a very successful Girls Aloud reunion last year, Nadine will reflect on the band’s incredible legacy, her enduring friendships with her fellow bandmates and the emotional journey back to the stage following the loss of friend and bandmate Sarah Harding.

Ireland’s Eurovision hopeful EMMY will make an appearance before jetting off to represent the country in Basel next week. She’ll speak about the whirlwind journey since being selected as this year’s entrant and deliver a special performance of Laika recorded in Trinity College Dublin’s Old Library.

Finally, ahead of Tina – The Tina Turner Musical opening at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre later this month, audiences will be treated to a live medley of Tina’s biggest hits.

The season finale of The Late Late Show airs this Friday on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player at 9.35pm.
