The British and Irish Lions will take on Argentina at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Friday night at 8pm. This will be the Lion's first outing ahead of the 2025 tour to Australia as well as their first time playing a match in Ireland.

Where to watch in Ireland

TG4 will be broadcasting the match from 7.20pm in an exclusive free-to-air live coverage partnership with S4C. You can also tune in from 7pm on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Action, with streaming available via Sky Go or on NOW.

You can also listen in to audio coverage of the match through the talkSPORT app.

Team news

Maro Itoje will lead the Lions squad which will feature Marcus Smith, Duhan van der Merwe, and Tadhg Furlong on the bench. The bench also includes Ronan Kelleher and Mack Hansen, while Bundee Aki, Tadhg Beirne, and Finlay Bealham are in the starting line-up.

Argentina will line-up with Julian Montoya as captain, alongside Juan Martin Gonzalez and Santiago Carreras.

Heading into the game, the Lions are firm favourites. Paddy Power is currently placing the Lions at 1/12 odds, while Argentina are at 7/1 odds.
