Hi! My name is Laura Daly, I’m 23 years old, and I am honoured to be representing Kerry in the 2025 Rose of Tralee International Festival. I am a teacher, dancer and business owner from Ballymacelligott, located on the outskirts of Tralee in beautiful County Kerry. Last year I graduated from Mary Immaculate College with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and I have recently been accepted to begin a Master’s in Education, with the goal of becoming a secondary school teacher. During my time in college I founded my dance school, LD DANCE - a studio grounded in creativity and self-expression. Blending my love of teaching and dance, I aim to help support young people to express themselves and all of life’s emotions through dance. My connection to the Rose of Tralee Festival began in my childhood. From dancing in the parades as a little girl, to volunteering as I got older in any way that I could! Being the Kerry Rose this year is such a special, full-circle moment, and I am so excited for the incredible journey ahead.
