LATEST: Gardaí issue update on boy (17) who had been reported missing in Carlow
A 17-year-old boy who had been reported missing from Carlow Town last Monday has been found, gardaí confirmed.
Suhayb Mohammed Ahmed (17) was reported missing in Carlow town on August 25, with gardaí initially issuing an appeal to find him amid concern.
In an update on Sunday, gardaí said Suhayb has been found "safe and well."

"An Garda Síochána would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance," a statement concluded.
