The Traitors Ireland returned for its second week on Sunday September 7, after a long five day wait following the twists and turns of Day three, last Wednesday September 3.

The episode opened with Katelyn and the newly returned John being the first to enter breakfast – with Katelyn immediately turning on Paudie and alluding to John that he may be a Traitor.

It is then revealed that Michele is the third victim of the Traitors murder.

With a flashback showing Katelyn deciding: "She's been suffering all day... we will end her suffering."

On the news of her murder Michele remarks that she has "No regrets. No regrets." about her time in the castle.

Meanwhile, at breakfast the Faithfuls once again begin falsely accusing one another with Faye accusing Linda of possibly being a Traitor.

When host Siobhan McSweeney entered, she quipped: "Poor Michele has fallen to the Traitors, maybe we can light a candle later."

Then once again the Traitors continue to turn on each other with Eamon declaring: "My mission now is to get Paudie out of there."

On the way to the mission, Linda tells Eamon she is suspicious of his fellow Traitor Katelyn, while he continues to allude to Paudie being a Traitor.

He says: "I think that he is not good with people that are loud, he is intimidated by them and he got rid of them all."

Elsewhere, Faithful Mark is in a car with Paudie and Eamon, expressing in his confessional: "The two people I voted for!"

Following a successful mission which saw the total prize pot increase to €17,800 and no player forfeit money for a shield, Faithful Christine states that she believes that Paudie will be the main target for banishment.

Meanwhile, Eamon states elsewhere: "Paudie is on one at the moment, he can't be stopped. But he doesn't know what he's doing - as usual."

On the prospect of Katelyn being banished, Eamon fears it will leave just him and Paudie, declaring: "I can't think of anything worse!"

At the roundtable, it is apparent that Katelyn will not be banished instead, Faithful Linda and Traitor Paudie who are being put forward for banishment.

Despite fellow Traitors Katelyn and Eamon voting against him, it is ultimately Linda who is banished. With host McSweeney jibing: "All you've done is banish Faithful, the Traitors are running rings around you."

Following the banishment, Andrew begins to grow suspicious of his father, and Traitor, Paudie: "At the roundtable my Dad was very defensive, to me, that's a red flag."

The Traitors then gather in the conclave, for the first time since Katelyn and Eamon voted against Paudie.

Paudie is the first to speak saying: "This game is not personal, I'm not st*pid. I know that but I do think you owe me an explanation."

Eamon explains: "At breakfast, and all day, the only name coming up was you. So what am I supposed to do all day? Try and fight fires for ya? I can't."
