Monday nights episode saw the first Traitor be banished - is it who you expected?

The Traitors Ireland continued it's three-day weekly run Monday night September 8, with fans of the show eagerly waiting to see who the Traitors decided to murder following yet another Faithfuls banishment at the round table with Linda having been voted out.

The first three players into breakfast were Christine, Kelley and Amy. Christine made her intentions to out Katelyn as a Traitor at the next round table known to the other two women, who backed her suspicions.

It was then revealed that the newly re-entered into the game John was the Traitors latest victim.

A flashback to the Traitors conclave meeting shows their continued strategy to murder strong Faithfuls.

Faye declared to the group that their decision to murder John: "Well, now they have revealed themselves as two boys and a girl."

Christine mourned another Cork player being eliminated from the game when host Siobhan enters and quips: "Ah, poor Johnny, we hardly knew ya."

Following breakfast, Eamon recruits his fellow Traitors for a risky Traitors talk in the hall while the Faithfuls roam freely around the castle.

On their not-so secret chat, Katelyn declares in her confessional: "The two of them are as thick as two bulls in the same field."

The group then gathers for the next mission to earn money for the collective prize pot which currently stands at €17,800.

The challenge is to row rafts across the river, answering math questions, in order to crack a code - that the Traitors already know unbeknownst to the Faithfuls.

On having to solve equations as a group, Faye expresses: "Do we have a brain cell between us? Absolutely not!"

Following the mission, the group gathers for the most intense round table yet. 

Christine sticks to her plan and calls out Katelyn as a Traitor, meanwhile Paudie goes after Eamon. 

 

Faithful Oyin through all the fighting questions: “Is this a fight amoung Traitors?” 

 

 

The group then goes to the vote and the Faithfuls finally banish a Traitor. 

 

Eamon received the most votes and was the first Traitor to be banished from the Traitors Ireland. 

 

The episode ended with Siobhan giving the remaining Traitors, Paudie and Katelyn the opportunity to murder as usual or try and recruit a Faithful the join them as a Traitor. 

Paudie advocates for either Nick or his son Andrew to join them in the conclave, while Katelyn wants to recruit Nick. 

The episode was left on the cliff hanger of whether or not Nick will accept their offer to leave his Faithful ways behind and join the Traitors conclave. 

 

Fans of the show can continue to tune in and watch The Traitors Ireland on RTÉ One and RTE Player every Sunday at 9:30 pm and Mondays and Tuesdays from 9:35 to watch the game unfold.
