An elderly woman has died following a collision involving a bus in Co Dublin.
The woman, aged in her 80s, was injured in the incident at the junction of Main Street and Bath Place in Blackrock at around 1.10pm on March 25.
Gardai said emergency services responded to a single-vehicle road traffic collision involving a bus and a pedestrian.
“A female pedestrian (aged in her 80s) was conveyed to St Vincent’s University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries,” they said.
“She was pronounced deceased yesterday morning (Friday).
“The coroner has been notified and a post-mortem examination will be arranged.”
Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact Blackrock Garda Station on 01 666 5200, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
