A man in his 50s has died in a road crash in Co Cork.
Gardai have appealed for witnesses to the crash, which happened at about 12.50pm on Monday in the Castletownroche area.
The man was the driver of the car involved and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A technical examination of the scene is being carried out by Garda forensic collision investigators and the road remains closed.
Road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam footage, and were in the area between 12.30pm and 1pm on Monday, have been asked to make it available.
