PICTURE: Large bale of commercial plastic dumped in the River Burrin in Carlow removed

A large bale of commercial plastic dumped in the River Burrin has been removed by Carlow County Council.

It took over two hours for Council staff to get all of it out of the river as the bale disintegrated when touched and filled twelve black sacks (pictured above).
